People suffering from physical ailments who have to spend the rest of their lives in a wheel chair, have a very disabled access to the house they are staying in. This is indeed a pathetic situation especially when that person earlier has been used to a very independent and self reliant life. Some of them do get into depression and give up. But here is some excellent news for all those people who still have that little hope still lingering on. Stair lifts or wheelchair lifts are devices that can be fitted inside a house allowing a person to become mobile without having to move his feet or bend his legs.
While this is a wise option, it is also a great way to completely change the meaning of the term disabled access. They do have access now to the entire house as they can keep going up and down a flight of stairs without having to bother anyone else.
